Our Wirral Circuit has a particular connection with Haiti, it is the family home of one of our Ministers, Rev Marcus Torchon. Leveque Methodist School was totally destroyed by the January 2010 earthquake. Through the generosity of members of the circuit and others from beyond the circuit we have been able to fund a completely new building. The building was officially opened in September 2012, and we committed to support the school by funding the equivalent of at least 120 pupil places for the first five years of its operation.
