Welcome to Little Sutton Methodist Church. We stand as a witness on the busy A41, and we welcome all members of our community to join us in Sunday worship, or in one of our many activities during the week.

For nearly 150 years Little Sutton Methodist Church has been part of our local community. For many it is full of memories – of weddings, christenings, of farewells to loved ones. We are pleased and humbled to have been part of so many milestones in the life of our community, and to continue to be a place of worship, service and welcome for all.
Little Sutton has an enthusiastic, though mostly older, congregation. We host and organise a range of community outreach programmes, including Toddlers, Knit and Natter, several Hope Journey schools events each year, a regular Messy Church. and monthly all-age services (2nd Sunday).
Worship is at the heart of all we do. The church exists because for two thousand years every generation has discovered afresh the reality of God and the love of Jesus.
We worship together as we meet on Sundays to sing, pray and listen to God. Some of our services are traditional in style, others, especially our Second Sunday Specials, are informal, accessible and interactive, with plenty for all the family (and breakfast snacks as well!).
Sunday worship is at 10:45 am each week, except for two Sundays a quarter when we join with our partner churches at Hope Farm or Trinity for a joint service. Joint services are on the fourth Sunday of the month, alternating between the three churches.
There are facilities for any children who attend, and there is time afterwards for coffee and chat. On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we serve breakfast from 10:00 am, with a creative and engaging all-age service at 10:45.
We are constantly astonished at the way people in our community look after one another and respond to needs – and we are just so happy to be a part of that. Our fund-raising events show the generosity of friends towards those in need. In recent years we have supported Teams4U, who work in Africa and Eastern Europe; Christian Aid; Macmillan, and several local charities.
It’s a delight to be able to share with people who need our help through these simple acts of kindness towards people we don’t know – and people we do! Many of our congregation have lived their whole lives in Little Sutton, and there is a network of friends and neighbours in the village which goes beyond the walls of the church. Many are drawn to join us because they know us to be a caring community, with a heart for others.
